Docker Distro

I recently came across with the docker container concept.i was wondering if there is a distro to simplify the configuration like the proxmox that made virtualization whole lot easier.

https://coreos.com/

http://www.projectatomic.io/

RedHat is doing a lot to get folks to use Atomic on RHEL7 based system.

Just to be clear the OS of the base system and the containers don't have to be (and often aren't) the same. We use CoreOS on the hardware but have containers built with Fedora, CentOS and Ubuntu.

I'm not really familiar with Promox.

This link suggests Promox containers are different than Docker containers:
http://www.liventerprise.com/compare/Docker_vs_Proxmox/

Also I saw some stuff on line about Promox with OpenVZ then later things saying they'd moved from OpenVZ to LXC.

You MAY be able to use a full virtual guest with Promox as your base server for Docker containers but we've not tried it.
