Distro
I am thinking of changing to linux, what is the best distro for newbies, does a simpler distro not contain all linux apps that an advanced one does. What distro also offers the best hardware support and easy detection.
Thank you everyone for the excellent advice that I have recieved from the linux experts. |
Do you want to learn about Linux or do you want to just use?
If you just want to use it, go for one of the "click here" distros like Redhat, Mandrake or SuSe. If you want to learn, try debian or slackware. Regards |
