dhcp method to update DNS entries
 

I have redhat 8.0.
I wan to make the dhcp to call out a program automatically for updating DNS entries. I tried to create a file /etc/dhcpc/dhcpcd-eth0.exe (eth0 is my interface) so each time that my ip address is changed(since I have a dynamic ip address), this file is called.
But it doesn't seem to be working since my address changed twice and this program has not being called.
I am including the program in the correct place? any ideas how do I make this work?
