Hey buddy! Yep, read as much as I could, it's actually not available to us in .iso form yet, in fact just the "program list" is all I could find to see about getting it installed to at least develop for. It's still in Pre ALPHA stage it would appear, so I guess we will have to wait for (what I hope is) a short while until they release some sort of Alpha for us to play with, and scope out.
If anyone has better/more info, or if you are part of the developing team, please let me/us know, I/we would really like to help, and see how the progress is coming.
Yea, just read the document saying their status point. Yikes.. I have to stop getting so excited and posting so soon . Seems I post and within 10 mintues after post, POOF, answer is as clear as day on a front page...
funny how it does that ~ Can't wait for the distro tho, will me awesome for grade schools.
Just tried out TuxPaint, it's actaully a really fun program! THink kids will enjoy it a lot.
It looks like it's a collection of programs that have been modified to fit the needs of kids.Got no idea wether it is on the woody cd's or not - did a netinstall.
What tasksel does is get predefined programs and installs them. Now where they come from is another question.
Can't check it out right now - my connection is a little busy.
