Crux Linux - trouble booting after first install

Hi, i just installed crux linux. after compiling linux 2.4.23, editing /etc/lilo.conf and rebooting, i get these error message:

LILO Loading CRUX........................
BIOS data check successful
Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel.
PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 4 of device 00:07.1
kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k nls_iso8859-1, errno = 2
how can i fix this?

It doesn't say what the module does, but it does say how to fix it.
