Congratulations to MX Linux
It's now the top distro on Distrowatch.
Exemption clause: even though the rankings say little about most downloaded or installed distros, it's still very good for them. Well done.

MX definitely deserves it. What a great distro. On my old clunker it idles at 1-3% cpu, similar to Void or Puppy, but backed by a debian repo
Not that I have anything against systemd but my favorite distros are anti-systemd. It seems the mentality behind some of these distros make a great lightweight workhorse that's enjoyable for the person who tinkers....

Interesting how a Debian based derivative distribution which does not use systemd by default can become so popular.

I discovered MX Linux because I use Pale Moon as my browser and installing it and updating in Mint were troublesome for me (not in Mint's repos). I love it. I have had an issue (covered here: https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...16#post5988316) when I tried to install it in a second laptop, but I've found that some of my programs work more reliably in MX than they were in Mint Mate. I need to shut down Pale Moon and restart it after Suspend but that is pretty quick with an ssd. And I like the fact it does not use systemd.
