compareing different linux O.S


hi their,
iam doing a research project on linux and I would like to know does any1 have any links to sites that compare different linux O.S
e.g whos using which versions, what can and cant be done on each version, ease of installation, what versions of kernal.......

you should do some research, and come back with something more specific...

thanks for that, iam doing research at the moment thats why i came to this site to try and gather some info, just starting out learning linux. do you know any other sites that deals with "whos using which versions".

not off hand... i don't know what you mean -- something like... novel uses suse? (i guess, they own it)... either way, no, i don't
