Changing time on clock on cent os 5 ?


How to change clock time on cent os?I want to have same time as i have on my local computer

I think all you need to do is change the setting in /etc/sysconfig/clock

from UTC=true
to UTC=false

I'm not sure what services you will need to restart (if any) for this to take effect). My experience with this was actually under Fedora and it turned out toi be an install problem (but that's besides the point)

You can probably do it through the gui as well, but I' don't know where.
