Can someone clear up for me the status of Sorcerer Linux?

Hello, I hadn't posted on LQ in years, but felt I had to ask here as searching wasn't yielding much useful information. Anyway, in my earliest Linux using days, I was a huge fan of Sorcerer Linux. Sadly, it fell apart when the developers got into a spat of some sort and it split into Sorcerer and a fork, Lunar Linux (and later Source Mage). I jumped ship to Gentoo, and just forgot about it. Out of curiosity, I checked Wikipedia, and to my surprise there was apparently a release on Dec. 12, 2012.

My question is this: Has anyone here used Sorcerer recently, and is it in fact being actively developed again? I haven't used it since 2003, and the most recent reviews or news articles I can find date from 2002 or so. I'm thinking about giving it a spin, as I used to like the spell system quite a bit and if nothing else it would be a nostalgic experience, but doing a Sorcerer install was a weekend long affair (much like Gentoo) back in the day, so I hate to waste my time if it isn't really being developed. Here is the homepage for anyone else interested: http://sorcerer.silverice.org/
