Can anyone recommend a distro for a notebook?

Hi all!

I recently acquired an extra laptop, a notebook, and want to run Linux on it. I've been using Mint for years, and have also tried both Debian and Ubuntu. I'd like to try something different, and would like a recommendation.

I'd prefer something that works well on a small screen (obviously). I'll be using the keyboard more than the mouse (the notebook has a horrible touch pad), and I don't mind command line interfaces - although I don't consider myself a hardcore command line guru yet, I'm pretty comfortable with it.

Thanks :)

And what kind of laptop is it? Cpu? memory? model?
