Booting with floppy
I have a triple boot system, XP, 98 and Fedora. It boots to windows systems no problem, but hangs after starting swap space on booting fedora. I pretty sure I know whats wrong, however need to be able to edit a file, but don't know how to get to that point even when booting with from a floppy as it hangs at same spot.
Please give detailed instructions as I am somewhat new to this!
Thanks
Greg

BasicLinux (google for it) can read/write ext2/3 drives and will fit on a floppy or can run off a DOS/Win9x partition (it has a RAMDISK image file).

I was able to boot to a bash shell with the Fedora disk 1. However how do I get to my hardrives directories and then how do you edit a file in a bash shell.
A little background, I added a line to rc.local to start popfile, unfortunatley I forgot to remove the other entries from rc5.d, so it started twice and locked on next boot, I reset, now halts after starting swap space.
Any help would be great!
Greg
