Bootable Distro with Minicom

Hi All,

Does anyone know a bootable distro that includes Minicom? Looked at Knoppix, Mint and couple others but cannot seem to find Minicom.

Thanks,

Joe

You could make one at SuseStudio.com

Might be able to remaster other distro's.

I assume you won't have internet otherwise you can almost always add it to a normal install.

Might have cu on some.

Could make a usb and add it to the install.

Slackware has it as "standard equipment." Debian and derivatives can get it via apt-get. I use it on Mint daily with no issues whatsoever.

Hi All,

Thanks for the reply. Downloading SLAX now. I use it to boot a laptop with no hard drive and connect to servers serial port for troubleshooting. No internet available where the servers are.

Thanks,

Joe
