Best Resource Management

I'm wondering what distro has the best resource management. I'm looking to run a dedicated server and want it to run as fast as possible. It doesn't have to be too graphical, but preferably not command-line.

What do you mean by resource management?
Like managing RAM and disk usage?
I use slackware 10.2 (with only required packages installed) to run my website and I am thinking of setting up my bnetd from pvpgn to play Starcraft
Gentoo is good for configuring linux just for your needs, but I will not be able to help on gentoo topics as I am only starting to get aquainted with that

Yes, RAM and Hard disk usage. I guess to clarify, I'm looking for a distro that has a graphical interface that doesn't use up too much RAM or CPU usage.
