Best Linux Distro for LUI
Hi,
I'm new here and to computer science in general. I'm learning quite a bit by learning languages, programming, asking questions, and researching online.
I'm currently using windows but desperately want to move beyond GUI to LUI.
In your opinion, what's the best Linux for LUI and why?
Thanks.

I'm only familiar with CLI (Command Line Interface) and GUI (Graphical User Interface). I've never heard of LUI either.
If you want to learn CLI stuff best, well there's Slackware (recommended), Gentoo, CRUX, Debian, and a few others.

Thanks.
LUI = line user interface. Apparently, it's an uncommon acronym. Sorry.

Most persons here refer to it as the "command line" or "CLI" for "command-line interface."
Any mainstream distro is fine for learning the command line. Just open a terminal and go. A good starter reference is the Bash Guide for Beginners (you can also get it in PDF).
If you want a distro that boots right into the command line by default, but still provides a full GUI environment when you need one, I'd recommend Slackware.
