Berry Linux - XServer wont start
I am trying to get Berry Linux to run on an IBM Netvista, but XServer won't start. Also tried it on a box that was custom built, no luck there either. I haven't been able to find much on Berry Problems online. I am currently trying with Berry-0.39

Berry dies when trying to launch an XFree86 server. Output is as follows:
Starting X11....
Retrying with Server XFree86(vesa) spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7
.
Retrying with Server XFree86(fbdev) .
Error: No suitable X-Server found for your card.
I get this error booting on a machine with an nVidia GeForce2 MX, and also on an IBM box with an integrated Intel chipset (i810).
And as for the log file, these are the line pertaining to X-Server:
(EE) Unable to determine screen layout
(EE) Error from xf86HandleConfigFile()
Fatal server error:
no screens found

I also got the no screens error before. I now use at boot prompt-"berry xmodule=vesa lang=us". I do not know about nvidia. As the kernel berry uses is experimental(so is berry itself)-2.6.5 in the latest,then this problem perhaps can be directed to the developer by email.
