Back Track 5

Hello there,

I am really new to Linux and its related things.

Well, I downloaded Linux Mint and was using it for a while.
Now I have downloaded backtrack 5. When I downloaded linux mint it was so easy, I just installed it and I got dual boot(that is when I restart my system, I get to choose which OS)
But that did not work when I downloaded Backtrack 5. Well, its an ISO file, so I need to boot it after writing the file into a DVD and make it bootable.
That is not a problem, see BT is basically a distro just like ubuntu and debian and fedora?

I dont get the difference between them.
Please elaborate.

Thank you

you have mint and backtrack both has been installed in your machine, if is that so install startup in mint and configure it.
