It doesn't suck, and I see little reason why any open minded person would refuse to use their distro because of their opinion.

Aw Shucks! I knew somebody would start this.

I guess I better not use Mandrake, because its French.
and I heard that French's mustard is not French though.
And Thank God! Jerry Falwell's site uses Redhat.

#1 how do you know if this is an opinion or not? its so easy to say anything is a opinon.

opinions can't hurt you and you business. what you say can do damage.
did you read the article? so many anti bush people.
Q:
The Ark Linux team opposes the United States and British war on Iraq. Constituting an illegal and effectively unilateral invasion, we do not believe this war is intended to liberate all the people of Iraq. We also do not believe this war constitutes a fight against terrorism, nor a removal of weapons of mass destruction.

----then what do you think this war is about?

Q:
This war addresses none of these important issues, rather it is responsible for unwarranted mass death and destruction, pain for innocent people, both Iraqi, American, British and Australian, a weakening of such important bodies as the United Nations, a dangerous precedent advocating use of force against other sovereign nations, and a continued betrayal of disarmament through potentially successful, peaceful and multilaterally endorsed means.

-----out of all the countrys we helped. and this is what we get.

Q:
We do not support Saddam Hussein, a ruthless leader who came to power through CIA support and ruled his country by force. We also do not support terrorism in any form - from any country large or small.

-------ok so its because of us, saddam i such a monster.

Q:
We do believe in achieving peace, freedom and liberation for all peoples of the world,

-----------thats what we are trying to do right now

Q:
through diplomacy, education and understanding, moral integrity, the International Criminal Court and the United Nations, and use of legal and multilateral force as a very last resort. True peace and freedom will only come via this route.

-----Iraq has no diplomacy, education? try educating saddams soilders in why peace is better then crime and pleasure. can they understand? noooooooooooo, they don't think like we do. crime = fun to them, death = automatic heaven. morals? haha, the united nations? who the f is the U.N.? what can they do? let saddam break another 17 resolution? and the use of legal and multulateral force is the last thing, its whats going on now. War.
Ture peace and freedom will only come via this route. War. you d%mn right.
theres no way to nock saddam out the box but to go to war. this is it. look. they even killing there own people. they have been doing this for a long time. rape chambers all over iraq. torture chambers all over the place. suicide bombers. try educating them! try it.

Well, I was merely being sarcastic, but true to the point that people (esp us Americans) base our decisions on something less than the facts. eg Most believe Saddam is responsible for 911, and will lash out at any opportunity at those offering different opinions of the world.

George Bush and his chickenhawks do not represent a diverse and egalitarian word. He even talked about a "crusade" against the muslim world if you failed to remember, and I think creating more terrorists is dangerous... that's all.

I won't comment on this anymore:

ps: war is terrorism

I tried it, it's a good stable newbie distro. I do think in some cases it's been simplified a little too much though, for example by default you are automatically logged in as root which is never a good idea.

yea i do don't like the automatic root as default. but what u can do is make another user, that doesn't have root access, and theres ways to access root with that user.

i to wont comment on the war subject or this thread. so last word to anyone who wants to express there self.

i was a little piss by anti war ppl. as i will have to attend 6 years in the navy...
peace.
