Any thoughts on 64 Studio distro?

I am a newbie to this linux thing. My ultimate goal is to find a way to create, organize, and mix music within a stable environment, then use this same environment on a laptop for my dj business. I am not satisfied with Windows and am not ready to fork over the crazy amount of money for a Mac. I have heard about a distro called 64 studio. Anybody try it? Would this give me what I am looking for? What are some dj tools out there similar to Mac's Serrato software? Thanks in advance.

Hmm... I have very little experience with working with music in Linux, but I did find a site that might help you out... it lists the various multimedia distros out there. http://linuxaudio.org/en/index.html

I don't really have any experience with dj software, but I have been using the 32-bit version of 64 Studio for a couple months now to record and edit my music, and I love it. My only limitations are my hardware. I haven't even really scratched the surface of what is capable with this collection of software. I really like ardour and hydrogen. But anyway, I would definitely recommend trying it out.
