AMD 64 and Nforce 3 Mobo

I am looking for a 64bit linux or UNIX based OS that will run on this setup. I do want a 64bit OS. Gentoo is the closest I know to having it work with the mobo. The 2.6.8 kernel works with that mobo but 2.6.7 is what gentoo is at right now. Any other OS options?

I got a AMD64 3500+ with a nforce 3 board and I just recieved my Suse 9.2 disks yesterday. Everything loaded up just fine. It detected the 64bit processor and installed everything for it.

when I install SUSE it picks up that i have a 64-bit processor, but it doesn't have a 64-bit kernel for it
