Adding 2nd mouse to SuSE 9.0

I am trying to add a USB Track ball to run at the same time as my intelimouse in SuSE 9.0. I have read the second mouse in X howto and I understand how and why things need to be configured. What I cannot seem to find is the correct config file to edit. In /ect/X11 I first tried XF89config with no results. There are 5 files all starting with XF86config but end with variations with YaST and sax. Then I decided to switch mice in YaST and see which file changed. I could not find any that changed when the mouse was switched but I did find examples of one mouse or the other in different config files. Both mice work perfectly when configured by YaST but not at the same time. I did try Knoppix and it ran both mice at the same time automatically. Has anyone successfully done this and how.

You can look at the logs to find out which config-file your x-server uses. Look at /var/log/XFree86.0.log or /var/log/Xorg.0.log if you're using x.org, and locate a line that says something like this:

(==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/something"
Your config-file is probably XF86config or XF86Config-4.

Duhhh

I checked the SuSE forums and found nothing, then I thought, this is SuSE, it has a UI for almost everything, so I went to YaST, Hardware, Graphics card and monitor, and then mouse and there was the button to add another mouse. Works perfectly now. It was there, just a little hard to find.
