Xubuntu 22.04.1 runs for a month and then fails to boot

I installed Xubuntu 22.04.1 (alongside Win10Pro) on an HP Z620 workstation about a month ago, rebooting several times during the installation and configuration process. It's been running mostly great since then until today when I manually rebooted in an attempt to see if that would clear up some problems with Zoom.

After selecting "Ubuntu" in the GRUB menu, I see a few log entries on the screen and then it appears to hang indefinitely with what looks like a graphical underscore/cursor in the upper left corner of the screen. If I press the power button, the Xubuntu logo comes up briefly on the screen and then the machine powers off.

I tried running boot-repair after booting from a live CD and that did not help. The boot-repair report was saved at https:/paste.ubuntu.com/p/7DNqgDMF8S in case that is helpful.

The following are the log entries that are displayed before it hangs, but I don't think any of them are relevant since I've always seen the TPM chip warnings and most of the rest go away if I disconnect my USB webcam and headset.

Code:
[ 1.(long decimal)] ima: Error Communicating to TPM Chip

I tried a few more things based on some outside suggestions:

Although the boot appeared hung before the graphical login screen, I was able to access a console terminal via Ctrl-Alt-F3. I checked the journal via "journalctl -b" and didn't see any errors, warnings, or other entries that looked relevant. I checked my Nvidia driver package and saw that an update was available for it. After updating the Nvidia packages, I rebooted and it appeared to hang at the same point before the graphical login screen, but this time, I could no longer access the console terminal via Ctrl-Alt-F3.

If you strike E at the Grub menu and append plymouth.enable=0 or plymouth=0 or noplymouth and/or nomodeset and/or 3 to the line beginning with linu can you reach a shell login prompt or your login manager?

Can you remote login from another computer?
