Unhappy xset unable to open display (Fedora 23)

I only wanted to disable the sleep screen
Code:
xset s off
xset -dpms
But not an alert screen after reboot

I went to the console
And typing this:
Code:
xset +dpms
writes:
Quote:
xset unable to open display
I looked at the way:
Code:
export DISPLAY=:0
xset q
But it didn't help

how do I restore the system?

xset will only work if your X server is running.

i gather you are working on a text console terminal tty?

xset will not solve your problem.

what is your problem?
please provide as much info as possible about your system and your problem.

My system is Fedora 23 Mate.
I did not turn off the sleep screen
I decided to upgrade the system
yum update
And disable power manager
I wrote the following
xset -dpms
And after the restart
Visual desktop is not loaded, just a black screen after loading
(

your problem has nothing to do with xset.
most probably, some graphic driver problem.
please post the output of
Code:
lspci -k | grep -iA5 -E 'vga|3d'
