Xsane choice of OCR tool

In xsane, can I change the choice of OCR program? That uses gocr, but I've found tesseract better when I compared them.

Installed a new Hp Laserjet MFP M130nw today. Printer & Scanner (Middle fingered the fax) It was easy beside the €50 HP Laserjet Pro 1102w I've just binned which needed windows, drivers, ppds, unavailable proprietary software, 10 runs of hplip, a dance around a tree being struck by lightning, and another few attempts by hplip before completion.

This isn't solved, nor will it be - 358 views and no replies.

So I joined the sane-devel list and they don't know either! If the devs don't know, it's buried deep.

The sneaky Jesuitical thought occurred to me to make /usr/bin/gocr a symlink to /usr/bin/tesseract :-D. I may try it. Alternatively, I can scan the images, save them, and ocr them later. But if you're scanning any bulk, it's no problem to run up a couple of hundred gigs. We were throwing around 500G disks fairly freely with projects on them. One guy there would swap out the disks live, which my hardware instincts always told me not to do.
