Xfce and LXDE Panel Menu Descriptions
 

Last time I looked a few months ago, the Xfce and LXDE panel (Start) menus did not support descriptions. For some users I prefer a providing a menu that lists the app description and then the app name in parentheses. Like KDE.

The description tag is an entry in the app's associated *.desktop file (GenericName).

Without that support I think the only way to obtain descriptions in Xfce and LXDE is to edit the Name tag in the *.desktop file.

Does Xfce 4.8 or the most recent version of LXDE support descriptions?

If this ability already exists, then I'd be grateful for an explanation. :)
