[solved] X Utility to lock a modifier key down manually?

Here's what I want: I want to be able to make a modifier key stay "pressed" even when it is not. Alot like KDE's stickeykeys, but I want the modifier to say even after I use it once. A command-line app where I can specify the modifier key (Super, Meta, Alt, whatever) would be best... can I do this with one of the existing X utilities?

Of course, I'd need to be able to undo it at will as well.

edit:

Nevermind. KDE's stickykeys provides this functionality with "lock sticky keys"...
