wireless networks: where is the list
 

hey,

I'm using suse linux 10.1 and all goes fine. The only thing that I'm missing is a list of available wireless networks in gnome-desktop?!

Can someone tell me where I can see a list of available wireless networks and also how to configure them for use with wep etc.?

Me too!
Except I'm on KDE desktop - (but that won't make any difference).

After buying 3 wireless cards, which all didn't work in Linux, I learned how to make my own data cables, how to plaster walls, tile a roof and sell surplus PC cards on FeeBay.

All part of the Linux learning curve, I guess but I'd still love to get the internet in SuSe10.1 on a wireless card.
