Window snapping in mutter
Hello guys; i've ran kde for quite some time now. I dislike some things about kde though, but i love kwin. I have installed Mate into Debian Wheezy, but i knew i'd miss some features that kwin provided. kwin causes graphical issues with mate, gnome and xfce for some reason though. I have been looking into alternative window managers i can use with mate. One feature i desire is window snapping. xfwm4 is pretty good, but it leaves a little to be desired. i've seen videos of mutter window snapping too. I have installed mutter 3.4.1-5 and have it running in a Mate session under Debian, but the window snapping doesn't seem to be working. I'm guessing it's disabled or not possible in this version. I have looked it up, but the the results seem to be cumulated with Ubuntu, Unity and compiz information. How can i enable this feature for Mutter in Debian.

Thank you

It seems this feature is enabled by default on install. I was using mutter, now muffin in a mate session. Muffin also has a window snap feature, but i was unable to get it to work either in mate. I think the window snapping must be a shell aspect of gnome/cinnamon because the only way i could get it to work was by starting up one of the shells.

Thought i'd share an update for others whom may be finding the same issue.
