Why my "multiple desktop zone" is lost on controll pannel?
Normally, there are four desktops on the bottom-left corner of the controller pannel.
I don't remember what actions I did, it is lost and I didn't figure out
how to pull them out.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

If you are using Kde, right click on the panel. Then select "add to panel", application, utilities, desktop, kpager.

Thanks but this is not what I want.
It should be 4 blocks listing inside the panel, if I want to switch the space, simply just click one of them.

Now it should be a matter of right clicking kpager and going to configure desktops and assign how many desktops you would like.

workspace switcher applet
If you are using GNOME, here is a guide:
http://www.gnome.org/learn/users-gui...orkspaces.html
Right click on panel --> Add to Panel --> Workspace Switcher

It is solved!!
I use root to delete .kde and .qt under my user account.
Then when I restart the system, everthing is back to defualts!
which is exactly what I want.
