I thought I read that the wallpaper had to come from the xfce folder. I guess not. The last time I tried Linux (Ubuntu 12.04), every time I'd load a wallpaper, most of the text (both in Ubuntu and the rest of my programs like Firefox) became corrupt. I'd have to reboot to get them right. I'd also get a bunch of random images (from my computer) that would replace the desktop wallpaper. Nobody could tell me why that happened. I guess we'll see if it happens in LL.

huh? put papers in directory and make it a shortcut in your file manager, and it shows up in your xfce4 where are your wallpapers drop down list when you set them. from what I remember.

They are a distro made by a laptop company that specializes in providing highly secure Linux laptops for people who want that sort of thing. If you have to ask that question you're probably not going to buy a System76 laptop anyway.
