My computer is an acer one with Linix Linpus Lite. The other day I turned my computer on. the desktop, where four boxes to navigate through my system normally are, was replaced by a fuzzy technicolor mess. A bar that allows you to search the desktop and internet still appears on the top right hand corner, but everything else is just gone.
I can open my internet through that search bar and the screen works fine, I still receive my e-mail etc etc, but that desktop background in a mess?! If someone can give me ANY insight as to why this has happened and how I can fix it I would be forever greatful!!!

Are you referring to the desktop switcher on the task bar? Which Desktop Environment are you using?
