Ubuntu filemanager does not access mounted nfs directories

I have a NAS and I have couple of directories mounted in my system. I can see them with
the terminal and access them just fine. Only when I try to access them with the filemanager
I run into problems. I get no specific error message or anything. It just does not navigate into the directory.

Could this be a permissions issue? Can you post the output of the following command:
ls -l <path to directory you wish to see>
