Question Ubuntu 12.04 - How to disable "autorun/autoplay" for all media

I am running Ubuntu 12.04/Gnome v3.6. How do I go about disabling all autorun/autoplay functions for all media?

Disable 'autoplay' from the Preferred Applications utility tabs. Look for it somewhere Menu -> System -> ...

Hope that helps.

...malemustaq... ???? I do not find anything referring to "preferred applications" on my computer. I did do a search in the Ubuntu software center and did find, and installed, preferred applications. Again tho, I still cannot locate this "utility".
