Turning Gnome user-switching off / enforce logout
 

Allo!

I don't want to have more than one user logged in at a time, as the box my Debian install is on is rather old - so much so it quietly rattles when overworked. I am hoping this is due to a loose fan!

Anyway (and simply):

In Gnome, when the user hits System > Log Out, the prompt appears saying "Switch User", "Cancel" and "Log Out".

Is it possible I can rid myself of the Switch User option?...

Maybe with gconf-editor you could get rid of the switch user option.
