tsclient...connection reset by peer. Can't connet with a Window 200 terminal server

We have just upgraded from an Window NT domain to Active Directory. However, I am now unable to connect from my RHEL 5 client machines to a Windows 2000 terminal server using tsclient- rdesktop application. The RHEL 5 workstations were able to connect to the Windows terminal serve prior to AD upgrade. The error message we now get when trying to connect is: "connection reset by peer".
When the tsclient is executed it appears to try to open a X window prior to the "connection reset by peer" error message.

I have searched and found other threads that described this same problem as only happening intermittently. However, all my Linux boxes are being refused a rdesktop connection. We ARE able to connect to other Windows 2003 terminal servers however?

I this issue specific to Windows 2000 terminal servers and are there any fixes for this bug?

thanks

Our resolution:
The Linux boxes were unable to connect but the windows mstsc clients were able to connect. The resolution for us was to edit the registry of the Windows 2000 terminal servers.
HK local machine\system\currentcontrol\set\services\termService\Parametes\
DefautLicenseServer (reg_sz) (added the default terminal server license server).
After pointing to the default terminal server license server in the registry we were able to rdesktop into the Windows2000 systems from Linux systems.
