Trying to set up Akonadi in Xfce

All of my Kontacts, Addressbooks, Korganizer, ect. require Akonadi which is not loaded. I have tried to install it and now all my Desktop files are blank with an X on them. Evidentally I messed up and do not know how to go back. I am using Xfce Version 4.12. I also have Kubuntu15.10 and Akanadi is not working in it to open my Korganizer, ect.

Please help as I do not know what I am doing.
