Question Threefold statement at DELL shutdown. Why?

Get threefold statements at shutdown of computer:

1. Scanning for signal…;
2. No DP signal from your device;
3. Going into standby mode.
-computer then shuts down.

Tried to find something in BIOS, but to no avail.

Those are messages the screen is putting up. Not the computer...

To my knowledge many monitors have some variation on that. My old one had a little thing pop up that moved around the screen for a minute or 2 before it actually suspended itself. Would do the same on power on if it didn't have an active input or connection.

Threefold statement at DELL shutdown. Why?

Yeah, that's just the screen. By that point the computer has already shut down, and the screen is telling you that it is not detecting any signal.
