For what it's worth, my current top seven (out of 113) is AntiX, CentOS, Lite, Mint, PCLinuxOS, Point, Salix.

Best for what?
For myself on my machines with my needs and experience I'd rate Debian (Testing or Sid), Slackware and Fedora. I could just then pick four of the other ones I've used in VMs or tried to dual boot but I don't see the point.
