I am trying to run Synergy on CentOS 5.6 as the system that shares the keyboard and mouse. I can work fine on the main system using the keyboard and mouse. I can use the mouse to control the 2 other systems that are connected, (one an XP, the other CentOS). I can click on things, start up programs, and move around on either of the other systems. But, as soon as I press any key on the keyboard when the mouse is on either of the other two systems, Synergy locks up. I can use Ctrl-Alt-F1 to gain text based control and shutdown synergy, and restart it.

If you do find an answer please post back. Synergy is a nice program but I haven't used it in a while.

Adding --no-xinitthreads to the command line when starting synergys fixed this problem.
