Suspend/Hibernate malfunctioning(Debian)
 

Hi,
I have Debian installed on my computer. The OS is able to hibernate/suspend the computer but there is a problem while resuming/wake-up. The screen doesn't change from blank state and there is no hard-drive activity also. In the case of hibernate, the screen goes blank after it loads from hibernation-file(or equivalent).

I did not have this problem earlier when I hadn't updated my Debian installation. This problem started when I updated my system.

Any help is appreciated.
