Question Strange problem...


Hi all... i've been having this problem from long time and i don't know how to fix it.Whem i scroll down everywhing seems ok, but when i scroll up i get this cool effect:

that happen only when scrolling verticaly... with almost all gtk apps except web browsers
I can't work with inkscape, file managers, text editors, that happens even in ccsm i just can't work that way
I use ubuntu lucid lynx, 2.6.32-23 and nvidia current.
Pls any help.

I don't have an answer, though I suspect it has something to do with the video driver.

Does the same thing happen when you boot to a live CD, such as Knoppix?

If it does not, that at least narrows it to something on your installation, as opposed to something generic.

damn... i hope it is not from the video i'm frightened to reinstall drivers in linux not very often gets it to work
nevermind tnx for help :P

I heard this was related to cairo or something. Maybe update all packages or report the bug.

i figured what is it... its damn rgba moduls for transperent gtk widgets... i ged rid of them and now everithing is just grate...
i'm now back to karmic :P
