i want to start up 3 instance (more later) of Xvnc with a user already on and ready to go so that as soon as i connect a vnc client, i get the screen with that user logged in and fully initialized, ready for me to start clicking. yes, i will be doing them on localhost with different ports.
does anyone know how to make all them start together?
I'm running 2 instances of a database program under wine, and I find that input to one is interpreted as input to the second, and vice versa. There's a split screen, and the right half is shared. Usually, that isn't a big issue for me, but it could be for you.
I take it this is a client, not server?
One way you could try is making 3 Xvnc commands with data in the options to do what you require, and put them in Settings/Sessions & sartup/Autostart. If this can't be done, look for a vnc that does it or give up.
i can get them to run if i knew just what to do to make Xfce and Xvnc start up together the right way with Xvnc listening on a specified port and not needing any system-wide resource that would limit this to one instance. i need to know those options.
