Hi, I thought I would post this in case anyone is having a problem with "Spell check" in Libra. A friend of mine couldn't get spell check to work in the default installation of Libra in Ubuntu 14.04. What you have to do is go to the Software Centre and install Libra Office (the complete suite) It has more features available than the default installation and, what you have to do is once it's installed, open Libra office, choose the "Writer document" then go to "Tools", choose "Language" next choose "For selection" and finally, click "English USA" (assuming you are in Canada or USA).
This activates the autospell checker which you can turn on or off by clicking the right hand "ABC" icon on the tool bar. Oddly, other Linux operating systems do not seem to require this process but this works in Ubuntu 14.04
Once Libra Office is installed, I suggest unlocking the previous Libra Icons from the menu bar to avoid confusion. Cheers, Tukatz
Hi Tukatz and thanks for the information. One small tip: the name "Libra" doesn't mean anything. I had trouble figuring out what you were talking about until I saw the phrase "Libra Office (the complete suite)". It would be easier to understand your post if you typed LibreOffice which is how it's spelt.

Tukatz, in case you don't know, you can click "Edit" under your original post, then click "Go Advanced" at the bottom of the post window, and edit your post title to read "LibreOffice."
I discovered how to do that when it was suggested that I mark one of my threads as "Solved."
You using tools automatically spell checking..You click right underline come choose suggested replacement word from the list..you choose autosub menu words auto correct currently link language..
