Smaller Screen Resolution (Kubuntu)

Hi, I was wondering how do I make everything on my Kubuntu environment bigger? Right now I'm using Firefox and all the text is really small and the rest of my desktop isn't exactly big either. I have tried pressing down on the ctrl-alt-plus/minus signs however that makes everything REALLY REALLY BIG. What do I do?

Thanks,

Mrstarware

to make fonts bigger in firefox i thought you can just hold CTRL and scroll the mouse wheel. I'm not familiar with KDE but in gnome you can adjust the DPI setting to make on-screen fonts bigger.

K-> System Settings -> Appearance -> Fonts
Click "Adjust all fonts"
Click the Size box. Choose a bigger font.
Click OK click Apply
Rinse ... repeat

Edit: Note that ctrl-alt-plus/minus changes your screen resolution eg 1024x768 -> 1200x800 -> 640x480. this is probably not what you want.
