Setting Display Refresh Rate in Fedora 15 (GNOME 3)

I have installed Fedora 15 but find that there is no option for setting the Refresh Rate in Display Settings. This is needed since when I set the Screen Resolution to 1024 x 768, the vertical scroll bar goes out of the screen. Please help.

Vertical scrollbar gone means the dot clock is too slow on the selected mode. Increasing the horizontal frequency is not the answer. Try the graphical gimmick xorgcfg and see if you can sort it

"Setting Display Refresh Rate"
is normally set using the 3d card driver ( ati/amd,nvidia,intel( chip) )
the gnome settings are mostly unused

Can you adjust your monitor settings to compensate? If not, you may want to try creating an xorg.conf file in /etc/X11 with a custom modeline (or an appropriate file snippet in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d)
