Set kde4 qtcurve highlight color?

I'm trying to find the setting for changing the highlight color in kde4, I have now resorted to setting every single color I can find to red and my highlights still appear white. If anyone here use qtcurve could you go into Style>Configure>General and set "Focus rectangle" to "Line drawn with highlight color" and see what happens or if you know a way to change it to something other than white?
