Question Search as you type does not work!

I'm experiencing problem with search as you type feature in GNOME, includes nautilus and common dialogs.
When I start to type, no floating windows appears and nothing happens.

Shortcut keys are still working fine though. When I run as different account, such as root permission with sudo & gksu, search as you type works just fine.

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem?

I feel bad 'bout this 'cause I experienced this issue time to time just days after switching to new accounts.
Missing of this feature is pain, better moving to xfce or kde?

gnome, nautilus
