Seamonkey 2.21: anoying Quick Find.

Hi: When you press any key that corresponds to alphanumeric characters while a Seamonkey window has the focus, a box named Quick Find opens. Is it possible to disable this mechanism?

Why 2.21 ?
seamonkey 2.40 is the current
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/seamonkey/releases/

2.21 is missing many many bug and SECURITY fixes

Well, bugs and security is not the discussion here.

install the current bug fixed version
then see if you still have the problem

also you can turn off the inline search in the preferences
edit / advanced / find as you type

My mistake. Said box (or bar) appears only when no text input window has the focus and you type a character. For instance, goto the linuxquestions.org home page and click on Main Menu title bar. Now type a character. If your version keeps this feature, you'll see a box opens showing the characgers you are typping, with the title 'Quick Find', on the upper part of the page.

if you are not typing in a "text area"
then you are SEARCHING for something on the page
