Rhythmbox suddenly not playing some radio streams

This is odd. I had added about 10 radio stream urls to rhythmbox and thev've all been playing fine. Today, some play, some don't. I get the error: "Couldn't start playback. Couldn't determine type of stream."

I've double checked the urls- they are all .pls files. Half work, half don't. I can understand one down, but 5 unrelated stations on the same day?

Example of one that works (BBC News):

and one that doesn't (Bach Music Station):

Note that when I click the problem url above, totem picks it up and plays it just fine. :-(

I couldn't get any of those urls to work with Movie Player, Kaffeine, VLC, RealPlayer or Amarok. Some of them report 'No Stream' and some report 'Connection Refused'
