Restoring taskbar in KDE without having to copy the config file from other user

I ran into a problem of losing the taskbar in the panel of the Windows in KDE. I fixed it by copying the file plasma-desktoprc and plasma-desktop-appletrc from another user into the directory ~/.kde/share/config/

I am just wondering is there anyway I can fix it by clicking on the cashew button and "Add Widget" or something like that.

I am using Slackware 13.1, KDE 4.4.3.

Thank you in advance

When you have your taskbar configured to your liking, make a backup copy of the config file(s). Something along the lines of the same filename with .back added (EX: plasma-desktop-appletrc.back). If you should need to restore your settings, just copy from the backup.
