Remove MATE Caja Network Options

I want to configure the Caja file manager to not show the Network/Browse Network option in Places and not show the File/Connect to Server menu option.

I have a use case for a workstation that I do not want to have access to the LAN but allow access to the web.

I can disable network access by removing packages or configuring outgoing firewall rules. Those are ugly hacks because the options remain showing in Caja and when users try to use those options after the hacks they receive geek error dialogs. This makes the computer look broken.

There is a limit to removing packages. Removing the gvfs packages removes Caja.

Would be cleaner if the options could just be removed.

Thanks!

I would guess that you need to edit the source code to remove those menu items and recompile.
